In the kitchen ... What's going on in the kitchen..? They've been out - all afternoon, letting me take care of the house again - and came back all wet and in a strange mood. The lady is cutting fresh meat for us, so it's dinner time. |

Vera is doing something in the fridge, so this is my moment. I'll quietly sneak foreward and will sit nicely on the sink, pushing my nose - gently ! - onto the foil that covers all that dillicious meat. Oh oh, it is making a sound. It is not suppost to do that... Here comes Vera. "What are you doing? Don't you know you're suppost to wait until it gets served?" - Yes, yes I know. I'll jump down and wait, like the others do... |

(Between you and me... I might've worked. It's not the first time that a quick jump onto the sink saves us a lot of waiting. This is how I pass around the cookies when no one is watching.)

![]() All four's Ladies & Gents, we proudly present The Miraculous All Four's... resting here in our yard for a picture before saying goodbye again. James has been visiting us for two days while his lady was painting here. Now it's time to go back to the ol' house again. |

July 10, a warm Sunday It was hi time for a stroll in the woods, and we're just getting to know this stretch at the end of the Petersdijk, which practically brings us home when we've been shopping in Durcum. I know, you have no clue where that is. Anyway, this beautiful forrest is a five minutes slow drive away from our house, so we could go there every day - if we wanted to. And there's at least three of us here who would like to go every day and I'ld say that's a majority ! |

That's the thing with hot wheather. You have to lay down every now and then when passing by shady trees. Just roll in the grass where there's no sunlight and you'll feel born again in less than five minutes. Then we'll jump up and start running again, okay ? By the way ... Daddy is planning a special on this website on our favorite forrest areas. It's not in the menu (yet) but you can go there by clicking here ... |

Some pictures of the cats in Halle: Louche (black and white, 15 months now) and two kittens in red, they're almost 7 weeks and spend most of their time sleeping in a borrowed bench. Next week they should be big enough to run around the house permanently... By the ways: These pictures are also used on our homepages. Go to October 2005, you'll see them on top of the page. |
| ••• Potatoes !! ••• At one point in October we dig up the new potatoes from the field behind the house. Big fun for the dogs as well because they love digging. It is also an opportunity to make pictures of them, especially on a clear day like this. ![]() |
